We can celebrate and give thanks to the Lord our God. It seems cruel and unfair, when Christ went to the cross and it was. It was a choice He made for you and I. To give us access to what our Heavenly Father have in store for us. Many have rejected this sacrifice of the shedding of Jesus blood. As we all have been given this gift of hope. Let us hope in the Lord from now and for ever.
Are you battered by the cares of life? That is why Jesus died, so you can hope and will not be ashamed. Are you down in the valley of shadow of death? That is why Jesus died, so even in the valley you have hope and will not be ashamed. Do you feel like Jonah in the whale of the belly? What a place to be, but it was because of disobedience. Even there His eyes watches over you and me and WE can still hope, for even disobedience Christ brought to the cross and we can say like the song writer, " What does the cross means? It's more than a song we sing, yeah, much more than emblem on your chain But it means I'm free, yes free from the chains of slavery and the blood that shed won't let my sins remain, oh my upon the cross my saviour died, the lamb was crucified. For the cross will always represent the love God have for me and the Lord of glory heaven sent paid all on Calvary, JUST FOR ME.
I bet Satan had a celebration, on that day. Unable to see, Jesus coming to to interrupt His party and take back our freedom. Yes freedom for you and for me.
Hope now in Christ, if this life was hope, we would be men most miserable. I am grateful for hope and this hope make us not ashamed. It is truly a great feeling of expectation of the coming of the Lord. We can gladly boast in the Lord. And despite been mock and jared we still look with great expectation and anticipation of the coming of the Lord.
Let me encouraged you today. Don't let life troubles blind your eyes and hindered you from receiving this great hope. Always have a heart of thanksgiving unto the Lord. Holding dear to the truth, your ship may be rocky and the sails have been torn but rest in the hope and promise of Christ, it will reach the shore safely and as Paul boldly state "not one life will be lost." Stay on board and stay on course, He is coming back again to pay every man as his faith shall be. Hope I say, in the Lord.
