Why Wait?

Why wait, until something else happens. You ask yourself? You have been waiting for your breakthrough, your miracle, your deliverance. It seems as if it will never happen. You have been face with situation, unsure whether to wait or just run away. Waiting is not a bad thing!

Waiting for a husband, that seems to be waiting on somebody else.

Waiting for healing, but seems as if it will never come to pass; keep on praying as you wait.

Waiting to get out of an abusive relationship; but you keep on encouraging yourself, that they are going to change, or things are going to get better but it never did.

Waiting for your sons or daughter to turn around and see the reality. That seems like forever. Just keep on waiting for your change to come. It will happen, God is a God of time and of season. Daniel can tell you about it, as He prayed and waited on the Lord. The answer was on the way but the Prince of Persia was waiting to delay. Daniel kept on praying and believing, that the answer was on its way.

Waiting is not a bad thing. When we wait we identifies strength that we never know we possess. We learn patience, and things about ourselves or others.

Psalms 37:7 KJV, "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass".

Waiting allows one to go through a process that brings them into the promise. Psalms 33:20 "Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.

While your waiting let not your heart be troubled. Many lives are saved, because of their obedience to wait on the Lord. There is a well know saying "the best is yet to come" Is it? Yes it is for the struggles, or the things that causes you to wait, is building your strength for the future. The strength you have gain while waiting for your change to come, as taught you to be calm, optimistic, passionate, confident, bold and brave. You're able to shoulder someone else as they faces the challenge of waiting. Now you can teach others how waiting allow you to find your true self. No experience is wasted. Wait I say on the Lord.
